We have held a week-long, overnight camp for children in foster care for the past four years. During this week, these kids have the opportunity to experience what most children take for granted. They get to participate in normal camp activities as well as special events created just for them like Everybody's birthday party, a Girls' Tea, Boys' karate, and a variety show. Our goal is to show them that they are loved and valued, and to let them have the opportunity to just be a kid! Last year we took 58 children to camp, we are hoping to take many more in 2012!
